Eliza Dushku in Spider-Man 3?

Former Buffy star Eliza Dushku is in talks with Sam Raimi to star in the next Spider-Man flick. The astute brunette would be playing the role of Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, who like Peter Parker harbours a covert second side. Raimi's apparently prepping Spider-Man 3 for production shortly, so he can go off and make Evil Dead 4, which funnily enough Raimi is considering Buffy co-star Nicholas Brendon for. He'd play the son of Ash (Bruce Campbell) in the film

This would be totally amazing. Eliza Dushku is my goddess and it would be so great to see her as a super hero!

It's interesting news, to be certain, except I can't imagine Eliza Dushku as a blonde, seeing as how that's what Felicia Hardy is.

Although I can imagine Dushku in the Black Cat costume...Me-Yow! :D

I'm actually more excited about Nicholas Brendon playing Ash's son in ED4.

That casting is inspired IMO.

I for one would not mind seeing Eliza as Felecia Hardy, just leave her hair her own color. Who really cares about hair color, as long as she fills out the costume purrrrrfectely, and can act the part?
Or Jessica Biel would be a fine choice, but she seems to have so many action roles with Blade 3 and Stealth that she would probably not do it.

if Dushku is gunna be in Spider-Man 3 I will die. Eliza Dushku is my favorite actress and I was just recently saying to one of my friends that I hope her next movie is something really mainstream and surefire hit-like. This is absolutely amazing news (for me at least).

As for Nicholas Brendan, that would be a great decision. He looks like Bruce Campbell a little and his dead on comedic deliveries in Buffy make him seem like a good choice to me. It's also nice to c the actors from Buffy getting more roles. :D

I am not against Eliza, I think she can pull it off better the some people tend to. But as a comic fan boy I see Felicia as more of a Denise Richard's type (not to mention as sexy as Eliza is, Denise totally got the body for Black Cat.) That's my unhumble take on the issue.

I don't think she would be a main villian I think she would kind of be like Max Shreck in Batman Returns kind of a small but integral side villian,as well as a love interest for Peter like she is in the books.

As for Spider-Man 3 villian last I head it was gonna be Venom and Carnidge which I hope is true.
