Is this possible to add sound to Gif files? If so can it be done with Photoshop? Tell me how please. Thanks.

Disregard the topic heading "Flash!" That program is just to confusing so I will stick with my photoshop.

You mean, avatars with sounds? Don't you think it'll be a mess (if not a disgusting experience for the ears) to visit a page with 20 different avatars each one with its own sound playing at the same time?

It is not possible to add sound to a gif file. And no it cant be done with PS, since PS is only used to correct or manipulate photos with(or webdesign). The only way to do this will be with flash like you said.

What scares the shit out of me, is when I accidentally I have the volume all the way up...and a pop up or some add comes up with sound! It's horrible!

Well, Thanks peeps. This was not for avatars but for my animations and such. I figured it couldn't be done in PS but just wanted to make sure. Anyhoots, thanks for the response.
