I can't recall ware I read it but Jake Gyllenhaal was supposidley up for the part, being as Carnage and Venom are apperntley the Spidey 3 villians.

If that is indeed the case being a fan of Donnie Darko,I think it would be a good choice Jake is a good young actor.

He sure looks like Kassidy, but I don't think he can pull a psycho killer role

He's too bubbly. He isn't sinister enough.
Besides, hair can be dyed red anyway, so might as well get someone who fits the personality more.

It might look bloody awful on him, Zane is an actor who is better looking bald then with hair or better yet a wig

Nope, nope, nope.
I ALWAYS saw Ed Norton as Eddie Brock. He'd be too perfect.

No Carnage!!!!! The only way I'd even want to see Venom in the 3rd one is if the black alien costume were introduced in the 2nd one and that aint happenin'. There's no way they can introduce the black costume, Venom, AND Carnage all in one movie. If you suggest that they do it but leave out the black costume you are insane.

The sembriot costume will be in the 2nd film because that is the whole purpose of having astronaut John Jameson in the film. Jameson goes to space and when he comes back the alien suit hitches a ride on the shuttle.

And I agree. Carrot top does look like carnage more than anyone else I can think of, but he wont be able the pull of the deranged serial killer.

Ryan Gosling would make a perfect Carnage.

Yeah, according to the cartoon. In the comics all of the superheroes assemble on the moon for a huge off world battle. Spidey's suit is destroyerd, and when he finds another one he puts it on. It juist happens to be a damn alien though.

This would be the best way to go anyway though. Budget wise.

I would not be surprised at all by a cliffhanger of this sort, especially since Sam is already working on S3.

I heard that too! Is he still considered for it? I'd much rather see Jake as Carnage than The Green Hornet.

Donnie Darko rocks!
