Golden Schmoes 2003? Oscar Predictions 2003? - ALL DISCUSSIONS

It's getting close to around the awards time soon, and I was just thinking lately whether this year there would be a Golden Schmoes competition.

Also, us schmoes usually compete in the Oscar Predictions Contest anually, I was also wondering if that competition would be on.

Johnny Depp is sure to not only be nominated but probably even win best actor. Personally, I didn't think it was that great of a performance. It was a fun and enjoyable performance but great and certainly not award worthy.

I reckon Kill Bill Vol.1 will sweep all at the Golden Schmoes 2003.

As for the Oscars thats hard to predict but I think Lost In Translation, ROTK, Mystic River and Cold Mountain will be heavily involved.

I actually think ROTK will win most of the awards like the last 2 years, since it's being almost universally liked by the schmoes in attendance. But it mainly comes down to who has the bigger fanbase on the boards: Tarantino worshippers or Rings die hards?
