It kicks major ass, the only problem was i thought it was on a good media player, and played it... and the stream sucked ASS. It stopped 6 times for 4 second intervals. I was so pissed. What i saw was great, but i would have waited for a better version, cause that one even though an upgrade for yahoo, still sucked ass. Probably cause there's tons of people on it, but at least give us a bigger and more clear version for an f'n teaser trailer for the biggest B.O. movie next year for gods sake!

I just went WHOA! from what I saw in the begining. The folks who did the "Garfield" teaser trailer thats online now taking notes? This is HOW you get the movie audiences intrested in a upcoming movie.

after it was over i had to remind myself to breath again because thats how great it was. the windows player was...lacking but that didnt stop this trailer from stomping everything else out there. i will sit patiently till i get the full screen quicktime version so i can bask in this trailors greatness even more so.

It didn't look too interesting to me. *Yawn*

To be fair, however, I wasn't a big fan of the first movie either.

I understand making deals with yahoo and shit. But Matrix reloaded and Revolutions had 1024x700 size trailers, that was 100 megs each. It was the most clear, and visually stunning online trailers ever. But you'd think a movie with the original making $821,706,375 world-wide would be able, and loyal to fans to have a huge ass fucking high-def trailer. Maybe they'll learn their lesson for the actual trailer.

cupajoe

dont worry they will learn hopefully soon. because when the comic book guy nerds start sending tough sounding e-mails to add a high resolution trailor the company fearing physical injury will certainly oblige.

But damn, the car, the ock, the spidey (improved too!). Damn, this is definatly gonna be better then number one! One of the best trailers that has come out this year too! Simply Cant wait!

Good trailer, but that zoom in on MJ and Peter thing was really dumb.

Stunning visuals, and I'm not talking about Mary Jane.:D

Very good trailer, indeed. Can't wait to see it on the big screen at ROTK.

Doc Oc looks real bad ass. It'd be even more so if they could have gotten Bruce Campbell to play him.

Impressive trailer. Raimi certainly knows his stuff. I loved the shot of Dr. Oct climbing the building.

Well I loved the beginning up until he said fasten your seatbelts. It was very dull to me from then on but yes I thought it was alright.

Let's just hope that the building Doc Ock was crawling on doesn't collapse anytime soon.

Purly Amazing. I was never Spider-Man Fantype, growing up. But that first movie did rock hard. And now, seeing this trailer, I'm even more hyped for a second one. Doc Ock is the shit, yo. And I never really got around to knowing all of the villains, but I did love Venom and Ock a lot on the old cartoons. Yes someone as old as me watches cartoons okay so stfu. Anywho, that Trailer was da bomb.

LOL, let's hope!

That reminds me though, the original teaser trailer for the first one with that robbery and helicopter was way better than this one IMO. They could have done better, but it was still cool. I'm just still on the bandwagon of being pissed off by the shit quality they gave.

I loved the trailer, though the close-ups on Parker and Watson while Ock was approaching was a little weak. But I gotta say the close-up on MJ's lips was very nice. :D

FINALLY! they have a better quicktime/windows media/realone player to play it on now with way better resolution and sound quality. Although i still wish it was bigger, a hell-of-a-lot better than that flash shit.

Wow, that was indeed a kick ass trailer and the shot of the Doc climbing up the side of a clock tower was just Flawless, I loved it! The zooming in on Peter Parker and Mary Jane didn't bother me, it just made me think "Sam Raimi", in fact this entire trailer made Spider-Man 2 look a little more like a Sam Raimi film then what we got with the first movie. July 2nd just can't get here fast enough :D

Which reminds me i can't get myself too hyped by the film. I get shipped out June 29th for the Air Force, which means it'll be a couple months before i get to see this in the theater, hopefully it stays in the theater cause while in Tech school i'll need to catch up on my flicks!

In the trailer you see Mary Jane coming off the stairs with some guy in uniform. Could this be Jonah Jamesons' son ? Wasn't he in the army or something ?

Thrizzle

He becomes an Astronaut i think. (so probably air force before that)

Is it just me or did it look like Kirsten Dunst was wearing no make up at all?

Also I don't mind having a chubby guy as Doctor Oc... but is it really needed to have him with no shirt on or a wifebeater on for what looks like half the movie? Jeez! Atleast hide it with that big brown coat he wears.

did anyone notice that he didn't have a germen accent when he said fasten your seatbelts, which is a dumb line anyway. i hope that was just one line and he dosen't talk in an american accent the whole movie because that would suck.

Actually his German accent was only for the cartoon (I never quite understood why they made him talk with an accent), but in the comic Dr. Octopus is in fact American and does not have a German accent.

Trailer: good, not great. Too much nonsense flying thru buildings and nothing more.

But...

What I didn't know...

Alfred Molina as Dr Octopus!!????? WTF??? Two thumbs down!!! Not that he's a bad actor, but he's absolutely miscast! i can't picture him in a bad-ass sofisticated villian even with the strongest characterization, and he looks completely crappy in the trailer. Ugh, this movie is going to be a turd, I feel it... :(

Cool, but it shows too much.

Why the hell is MJ blonde!? Why does Peter wear glasses again!? He suppose to not need them anymore! Man they messed up everything...

Awe some teaser nonetheless.:p
