This album is one of the most beautiful, heart breaking albums I have ever heard. It is hands down the saddest album I've yet to experiece and with it comes a sort of ugly beauty wrapped up among the stories of two peoples lives slowly spiraling out of control. When I saw Reed a few months back I actually broke down and got teary when he started playing "The Bed" out of nowhere. Within this cd lies stories of depression, spouse abuse, child negelect, drug addicition, Apathy, and suicide. All of this combined with Reeds haunting vocals formed one of the greatest Rock and Roll albums of all time. Are there any other fans of this album out there?
