Alright the Steve Bartman foul ball was sold at an auction for $106,000 by some Cubs fans that own the Harry Carey restauant in Chicago.Click Here (http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/news_story.asp?id=64894)

Now right off the bat you're probably wondering why would any Cubs fan buy this ball well the owners of the ball plan on destroying the ball so it wouldn't get into the hands of any Marlins fan. Batman is also invited to attend to the ceremony on February 26th.

I don't know if I'd pay $100,600 for something but if you see some sort of sports memorabilia you really wanted and you needed it how much would you spend to get it.

Hell it wouldn't be $100,600. Hell I'd like to even have $100,600

If I had the money, I'd pay that much for movie or music memorabilia but never for sports, no matter how sacred or popular the item.

I'm not much into the history of sports. Music & cinema are another story...

Still, that Bartman story cracked me up when I heard about it on TV earlier. Great idea! Hopefully, they'll televise it.

The memorabilia is great, and sometimes worth the money, but if I ever saw my self about ready to dish over six figures for a football or jersey of some sort, I'd be reminded of the film "Celtic Pride" where Damon Wayans knocks on people who keep loads of memorabilia in their house, and all it represents is someone else's accomplishments that they couldn't do on their own.

Ouch.

Talk about a guilt trip from hell.

I would pay upwards of $0 for sports memorabilia.
