I can honestly say Angelina is at least for me, the hottest american actress these days. Not only she's beautiful, she's also capable of doing amazing roles, like the interesting troubled girl in GIRL INTERRUPTED, and of course, Lady Croft (though I didn't really like the first one much, I think she's great in the second) in the LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER series. Next year she's in 2 movies I'm really looking forward to: ALEXANDER and TAKING LIVES. SO, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a little bit on and off regarding her talents. She's given great performances in the likes of Girl, Interrupted, Gia, and Playing By Heart. But let's not forget duds like Tomb Raider and Original Sin.

Asked me those a few years ago, it could've easily been a YAY. But with all of her stinkers nowadays.....it's really ruining her potential to becoming a great actress.

I have pretty much the same thoughts as Hannibal.

Some 4 years ago she was my favorite actress, after the brilliant performances in Playing by Heart, Girl, Interrupted and most of all Gia. But unfortunately she hasn't made a really good movie since. I hate to see her great talents going to waste, but that is exactly what it is happening right now.

YAY as far as looks are concerned, since she loves to get undressed and I love to watch that happen.

Overall though, I'm growing sick of watching her. And the trailer for TAKING LIVES sucks, despite the great cast.

Seems like acting and her career are secondary to her these days. Like Audrey Hepburn (but unlike Grace Kelly), she's concentrating on more productive pursuits. I regret this as a fan of her talent, but I admire it as someone who admires her heart.

She's a ten...on the vomit meter. Man, oh man, she SUCKS. Unfortunately, that applies to her acting more than anything else. She's not much on looks. She has appeared in some bad roles. Ever since GIRL INTERRUPTED, she hasn't been worth a damn. In addition to all that, from every indication with the exception of her "charity work" (which she seems to have a personal interest more than a streak of compassion), she comes off in the media, in interviews and in her personal life as a complete raging psycho. Not much on her look, either. She's not bad looking, just nothing to get worked up about.

And as far as her always playing the wild girl in movies? I think she's naturally drawn to those roles because that's the way she is inside. And that's the main reason I like her so much.
