Best:
1. Seabiscuit- 10/10 (My 2nd favorite movie of all time!)
2. School of Rock- 10/10 (The biggest surprise of the year!)
3(tie). Matrix Revolutions- 9.5/10 (Am I the only one who thought that it almost lived up to the original?)
3(tie). The Italian Job- 9/10 (While Seabiscuit was the best movie of the year and summer, The Italian Job was the most entertaining of the summer! It also had some great acting in it as well! I was going to put it in the honorable mention, but it was just too good not to be in my top 3!)
Honorable Mentions: X2, Terminator 3, The Rundown, The Matrix Reloaded, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Daredevil (all honorable mentions are 9/10)
Worst:
1. Jeepers Creepers 2- 3/10 (The only bad movie I saw this year)
2. The Recruit- 5/10 (Intriguing at times, but mostly boring and confusing)
3. Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle- 5/10 (Terrible way of telling the story, and since when did the Angels live in the Matrix?)
Dishonorable mentions: Underworld (6/10), Secondhand Lions (5/10), Tomb Raider 2 (6/10), Stuck on You (6/10)
Overall, I thought it was a good year because there was only one movie I saw that was actually bad and I see a lot of movies, I didn't see Gigli though, and judging by all the negative hype its getting, I'd probably dislike that one as well!

Well, I thought it exceeded it. And I'm pretty sure the effects in the movie were in the top SEVEN!!! of 2003, even if the Oscars didn't.

Best list:
1: Haven't seen it - didn't particularly interest me
2: Haven't seen it - heard some pretty good stuff on it, though
3 (#1): Thank God I'm not the only one who liked this one - it's so underrated around here, IMO.
3 (#2): Definitely an entertaining movie (I personally didn't consider it the most entertaining of the summer, though - for me, T3 & FvsJ still have that record)
Worst list:
1: Haven't seen it, but I've heard some pretty bad things about it
2: I kinda found it intriguing & entertaining, but I can see how some wouldn't like it (it is, admittedly, kinda dumb at times, after all)
3: Am I the only one who actually liked this movie?
Anyway, from the looks of your worst list, you apparently haven't seen such movies as From Justin to Kelly, The Real Cancun, LXG, or Legally Blonde 2. My advice: don't.

I liked LXG for some odd reason. It was corny and had terrible special effects but it entertained me just the same. I have no idea why, it just seemed to work for me. Legally Blonde 2 was kinda annoying, but it got better as it kept going. I laughed pretty hard at some of the parts towards the end. I can see why everyone dislikes those though. I really recommend you see Seabiscuit. It looks really mushy and stupid in the previews, but its really an awesome movie, the realistic characters make this movie work! If you don't mind movies with a lot of talking, you should really enjoy it too!

My thoughts on the movie on your lists.....
1. I liked it a lot and didn't find it at all schmaltzy or manipulative like many folk would consider it as...
2. Haven't seen it yet.
3(tie). Underrated. I didn't LOVE it, but I enjoyed it to a certain extent, definitely not as bad as others say it is.
3(tie). Ugh......awful. Boring and cliched action film, pointless remake.

Worst:
1. Better than the first one IMO, but that's not saying much.
2. I enjoyed it.
3. Better than the first one IMO, but that's not saying much.
Dishonorable mentions: Haven't seen any of them, don't care to either.
