Ah they've offered £100K now and I bet the club takes it. Not wishing to depress you mate but I dunno anyone who doesn't think dundee are doomed. They could sell dens, move in at Utd, get rid of the entire 1st team and play the under 21s and they'd still be nowhere near clearing the debt.

And again I don't wish to offend or to seem to be saying I told you so, but I mean I wondered what the hell is going on at dundee for ages. I mean it was just insane for a club which has what, somewhere between 6500-7000 average gate to be paying Canigia* £15k a week and several other key players £6-8k a week when you've just had to rebuild half you're ground. Where did the fans think the cash was coming from? Ah well it doesn't matter now anyway.

*Yeah I know I spelled it wrong but I can't be arsed looking it up. You know who I mean.

And the one thing I wouldn't do ever if I was in dundee's shoes is sell the ground + car park to GDS for 860k. Anyone who doesn't think he's slightly dodgy needs their head looking at imo. Didn't he once say, to defend himself that he had only met Osama bin Laden once?

Oh well only once, that's OK then  .

(battered and bruised) ok ok its all true:(

even though i was aware of the unrealistic was the club was being run...it was too difficult not to enjoy....it was great to see people around me delight in the often terrific football being played....i was privilieged to see guys like nemzadze and cab and even cannigia pull on the blue jersey

all dundee fans had at some point issued their concerns.....yet were accused of negativity and being boo boys

couldnt agree more about di stefano.....the whole thing stinks...and can only pray he is kept at arms bay

(hey poet and dont know it eh) - sorry gotta laugh or ill greet

Rangers would do well to go for Rae... or anyone for that matter.

Truth is, they're shite at the moment and hopefully the Bhoys can take advantage of that this weekend!

'MON THE HOOPS!

its was a derisory offer but with the financial trouble we are also in we have to take advantage as everyone else also seams to be.
as you say scully we are shyte right now but remember when the martian goes next season and as it looks MON,hartson and sutton follow you will be left with as big a rebuilding job as we have right now.

First off, my apologies for this post.

Secondly, what is "taking the P***" ?!

I am perplexed.

'Taking the piss': it means they're mocking them basically.

I could not give a fuck about this but I doubt that's true. This is the worst rangers have ever been under murray and they can't do anything about it because they're skint. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if more players go from rangers in the summer leaving you in a bigger hole.

your dead right about the state of rangers right now but i do think celtic are going to lose o'neil to liverpool, and with larsson and miller already on their bike next season, and sutton being touted about at £1.5 m they too will have a big rebuilding job for next season.who know's it might leave a chance for one of the other teams like hearts or hib's to win something.

Ahahaha! Thanks calf. Brilliant!

If anything, they both may come back to the pack a little, temporarily. But enough for Hearts to be contending for the title? I wish, but fat chance! Perhaps they might not approach the League Cup at all seriously (they don't much anyway) which may leave that prestigious competition a bit more open. Nothing doing on the League title, though.

Hearts are on the verge of becoming the new wimbledon anyway. We are it appears going to be having an EGM in 3 months to seal a move to murrayfield. Murrayfield holds approx. 70000 people. Hearts average gate around 12000. Does anyone else see the problem here? The prospect of playing the likes of partick/motherwell/livi in a queens park style atmosphere is about as appealing as rectal surgery. If hearts are still in business in 5 years time it will be down to good luck and nothing else

i have been reading about the propsed move but cannot for the life of me work out why its happening, what is the reason for the move,i know they have got problems with uefa regarding the pitch size but surley that cannot be the reason.

It's nothing to do with uefa that's basically a smoke screen imo most people believe it's because we're £17.5 million in debt and the bank of scotland, much like they have done with dundee, have said enough's enough we want the cash back. At least unlike dundee tynecastle is in central edinburgh where the house prices are through the roof at the moment, so selling the ground will clear it, hopefully, but as mentioned will bring a whole shitload of new problems.
