I need a few lists schmoes! For Research!

Im in dire need of a few specific lists of movies as research im doing for my current writing project.

Any and all recommendations would be appreciated.

1) Any movie where the geek gets the girl. Preferably the geek beats out the girls current boyfriend.

2) Any kind of movie where one of the good guys is driven to being bad. Preferably because of a woman, even going as far as murder, and his transformation is very clear and onscreen alot.

3) Any movie where the protagonist gets dumped for someone else. Preferably a good character movie, where his emotions are heavily documented on screen.

4) any DRAMA where a girl choosees between someone she already loves, even if not terribly deeply, and someone shes just met. The new guy should win out, but either is appreciated of course.

Ok guys help me out here. Even if you have just ONE suggestion from all those lists it will help me. But please not any crappy romantic comedies.

And I am also going to see "House of sand and fog" tomorrow. I hear its a good character driven film where two ordinary people are driven to evil ways by the other, which is kind of a basis for the script im working on.

The only movie that comes to mind is "Can't Buy Me Love". Dempsey's character fit here. And when the geek beats out gf's current bf are we talking fighting? Another runner-up possiblity, maybe "Angus"....

There's numerous movies where the hero's flawed. In fact, it's one of the first things they teach you if you want to be a screenwriter. Some examples

Boogie Nights

Check out any rise and fall stories. Those're the best ones off the top of my head
