View Full Version : Question about Arrow's top 10 of 2003
Arrow,
Why isn't May on your top 10? You gave it (***1/2) while 28 Days Later, Undead, and Final Destination 2 only got (***). I was just wondering.

I wondered about that too at first, but then I looked at his 2002 list, and here it is!

I thought he would've ranked Freddy VS Jason higher than he did but oh well.

Jesus, I need to get out more - I've only seen four of the films of the list!

Are Arrows choices in order? #1 being the best one? I say this cause I wouldve ranked 28 days later and The Eye above House of a Thousand Corpses.
I wouldve eliminated Equilibrium (since it aint horror) from the list and put May in.
But that wouldve been my list, not Arrows. Thats just my opinion, Arrows choices rawked!
One thing though, Bubba Ho Tep cant be considered for this year right? I dont think its even been released, so maybe it will be on next years list I hope.
Sadly, I havent seen Undead yet. When will we finally see this one on the states? I cant freaking wait!

Would have dropped House of 1000 Corpses down to number 9, and drop Equilibrium to 10, then move everything up.

It's been in release for awhile now. Limited, but it still counts. And I don't think that Arrow has seen it yet. He would have reviewed something that prestigious.
Anyway, I'm not so sure about this list. I suppose that's how opinions work, huh?

While I do consider May a 2003 film, I'd rather have Arrow put it on the '02 list instead of ignoring it altogether. That being said...I have to admit I don't agree with his putting House of 1000 Corpses on his number one spot. I found it to be a mediocre film at best, poorly directed, though I do give Rob Zombie credit for at least trying his hand at a more traditional kind of horror film.

I didn't care about Equilibrium and T3 being there. I pretty much agree with his list, my number #6 and #7 are the same as his. But I was shocked to see House of 1,000 Corpses, one of the worst horror movies of the year and of all time, at number one. But hey, that's why it's ARROW'S Top 10, it's his taste and I respect that. Pretty good list!

I don't really agree with the list. If you ask me, the year's been bad to the genre. Wrong Turn, Freddy vs Jason... blegh.
But I liked seeing The Eye high on the list.
