Check out this poster I got from Ebay(Buy it now option), the poster of Mutant(A.K.A, Night Shadows). I own the film without the cover, and while the film isn't the best(Were there even mutants in the movie?! Looked like zombies to me...I was hoping for a CHUD type of movie...), the poster kicks ass! It has a mutant head hovering over a small town. The tagline is kinda dumb, but the art looks cool. Gotta love eighties posters!

Here's a pic.

I'm supposin' this is an alternate poster for the movie here, which also looks cool. Might be a different movie with the same title though, cuz Roger Corman had something to do with this one.

Turns out that the second poster I posted was a totally different movie, which A.K.A is Forbidden World, made in 1982.

I like the Mutant/Night Shadows poster I bidded on a bit better, but hopefully the Forbidden World movie actually has mutants in it. Not like I hate the Night Shadows movie, it's actually good for zombie fans, and pretty eerie, it's just NOT what I expected at all.

That is a very nice poster my friend... obviously I'd need to see the film to understand it, but why does it say "Makind's deadliest threat will not come from the skies" and then show a big fucking BEAST coming from the skies? :)

Very nice though... how much did it cost? I'm a poster nut myself (as can be seen here: http://www.joblo.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67024&highlight=cost )

Only 5 dollars. There was another auction for the poster that was 15 bucks, so luckily I got this one. I'm surprised it was only five bucks with the Buy it now option, most of the time it's like 20 bucks or something.

As for the tagline, I dont understand it either. Yeah, I'm a fan of old horror posters myself, although I dont really have any(:D ), I just find eighties horror posters so awesome! I cant wait till this gets in the mail!

Now that I think of it, the movie was about toxic waste mutating dead people and turning them into zombies. Maybe that had something to do with the confusing tagline.

The posters were cool. I think I might have seen the movie for the second poster but I'm not sure. Can you tell me what the movie for the second one is about? I think I've seen it.

It's a Roger Corman movie about an alien(the mutant on the cover.)and it has something to do with a planet named Xarbia. That's all I know. Check IMDB and type in Forbidden world, it probably has some good info.

Guess what I got from the pawnshop today! The movie of Mutant. The copy I had was of HORRIBLE quality, so I bought a new copy(well, new from the pawnshop)with coverart intact. I actually like the movie now. I'd give it a 6/10.

Heres a dead zombie child in Mutant. Pretty eerie huh? Dead zombie kids always creep me out, like in Dawn of the dead.

The other posters were good but not as good as the first one you posted. I don't know if it is called The Intruder Within but I do know the one I'm thinking about involves this alien type monster in a sewer location and there's this one girl that puked up some eggs or something and there's these other girls that are hypnotised and eat the eggs. Does anyone know any movie that has that?

That movie your talkin' about sounds good man! Dont have a clue of what it is yet though...

And pyscho dude, sinse your into zombie flicks, I thought I'd reccomend Mutant/Night Shadows to you. The zombies in it resemble the ones off Romero's Dead movies, and there is atmosphere galore!

I'll definately try and check that out. Well I also know that within the movie I'm thinking of there's this scene involving a cop or swat member or something who's stuck in the sewer wounded and is cornered by this alien thing and there's a gas leak and he lights his lighter and boom. I also remember that the only to hurt the thing was crystals and this guy would put crystals on in his shotgun rounds and wound the thing. I really wish I could remember the name or at least one of the actors or something.

You wouldnt believe the effect that having a poster in front of your bed can have on your dreams.

For the longest time I had this really cool poster of the T-Rex from Jurassic Park in front of my bed. Obviously it was the last thing I saw when I closed my eyes. You wouldnt believe how many times I had dreams about escaping from a fucked up amusement park with dinasours running rampant.

Actually having a horror poster in your wall is a preatty cool idea if you want to have some scary horror movie related nightmares! Just make sure that that image is tha last you see before you go to sleep.

Yeah, that dream thing happens to me. I have a Tomb Raider 2 poster in my room, and I had some wierd Indiana Jones/Lara Croft type of dream. Lara was in the wetsuit she was in on the poster too...:D
