Shocker - Crap.

The Hills Have Eyes - I remember it being okay, but its been a while. Backwoods slasher that features a fairly convincing group of robbers/hunters/cannibals(?). think TCM with Dee Wallace.

Wendigo - Haven't seen it yet, but it looks cool, huh?!

COTLD - CRAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! Really, its a bad, badddd movie.

Hellraiser Series - Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the first three, but I'm weird. :)

Shocker- I actully enjoy this one, I thought it was a big of fun! I recommend it.

The Hills Have Eyes- I feel this one is a little over rated and a tad bit slow but I'd still recommend it.

Hellraiser series- I recommend 1,2,3 and 5, 4 and 6 are bad!

Children of the Living Dead- Stay away from this piece of shit, seriously, grab some mates, throw some fake blood and make up on them, have them chase each other around for an hour and a half and film it with a digital camra, you'll probably wind up having a better movie!

Wendigo- Didn't like this one either, slow and boring!

Jeepers Creepers 2- It's ok, I knid of recommend it but don't expect much, the kills are way to bloodless and not enough people die. Also there are no characters to root for! It does contain some decent suspence scenes though.

Yessiree, I HIGHLY recomend The Hills Have Eyes if you're looking for a great throwback to gritty seventies horror. Not without it's flaws, it is still a good time classic everyone should see.

I haven't seen Shocker since it came out, but I remember it being entertaining enough.

I've only seen Hellraiser 1-3. Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 is one of my favorites. Visually appealing and very high on the grue factor. Part 3 was a bit dissapointing, but still had a couple moments. Then again, I dug the first one, so... Still, give Hellbound a shot, I don't know how anyone couldn't at least appreciate it.

As for the others in the Hellraiser series, I hear they are complete shit and have not seen them. I have not seen the others on your list...I would see Jeepers Creepers 2...maybe

Hellraiser 3 was quite fun to watch. I remember 2 as being similar to one, only with much more sensless murdering and gore.

Shocker is well what the titles infers really, an absolutely shocking piece of film making, I'm sure Wes intended it to be a horror yarn, but in the end comedy is the only thing to come out of this erm...turkey.

Hellraiser 2 + 3 are pretty good as sequels go, 2 is very gory, 3 has its moments to but its altogether a bit lame in comparison to the previous.

The Hills Have Eyes for its time was fairly brutal I suppose, although today its shock value is extremely minimal. It certainly hasn't aged gracefuly (unlike me!) however if your a real Wes Craven fan then you have to view it at least once like all his others. Its far from accomplished, but it is an important piece of Cravens film history nonetheless.

Jeepers Creepers 2 I strongly recommend.

Wendigo I haven't seen yet, so there's one for me to go and rent tommorow afternoon!!.

My advice to you, go and rent them before you part with your hard earned dosh!.

I think you should definatley see the hellraiser series. Many people don't like parts 3,4,5, or 6 but I personally enjoyed them and recommend them.

Shocker is a guilty pleasure of mine, it's so crap it's good!

The Hills Have Eyes has aged really badly, but still worth a view.

I'd only go with Hellraiser 1 & 2 - The others are shite, IMO.

I'd stay away from COTLD and Wendigo, unless you want your DVD/VCR to reek of shit for a month or two!

Shocker ~ Strictly a rental. Goofy villain, terrible one-liners.

Hellraiser ~ Hellbound and Inferno are the only superior entries. The rest are middling.

Wendigo ~ Extremely subtle, but an intriguing watch nonetheless.

Jeepers Creepers 2 ~ A fun creature feature. Don't read too much into this one.

Shocker (4/10) - Wes' worst.

The Hills Have Eyes (8/10) - Worth seeing? Hell yes it is worth seeing!

Wendigo (6/10) - Too slow for my taste.

Hellraiser (series) - Only see Hellbound (6/10) and Inferno (6/10), they are the only good ones.

Jeepers Creepers 2 (7/10) - I didn't like this my first viewing, but after the DVD came out, I fell in love with it. Don't listen to the crap you heard about it, just watch it and make your own opinion.

Shocker- starts out promissing, but deteriorates to garbage by the 2nd half.*1/2

The Hills have Eyes- Texas Chainsaw Massacre lite. Still pretty good. ***

Wendigo- Ok, Kinda atmospheric**1/2

Hellraiser- Didn't like the first one? You are a rare breed my friend. I can only recommend the book The Hellbound Heart. Its Barker at his nastiest.

Childern of the Living Dead is a moldy piece of shi*

Wendigo is such a piece of shit. Do not waste your money renting it!!! Not even horror, not even scary. You should read the short story Wendigo in the first volume of Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark instead. Slow, boring drama with a woman who can not even say a cuss word in a convincing way it just makes her look hella retarded!

I can never express how much I was let down by Wendigo. The film was so good until..They showed the Wendigo. What a joke. Were they serious with that deer costume? The movie would have been a solid B + if they just didnt show the damn Wendigo,8 seconds of footage knocked the film into waste bin territory. My grade= D -
