Although he's only been in close to 10 films, Aaron Eckhart is moving up the ranks in Hollywood. I first saw him in Nurse Betty getting scalped...yeah. Then I saw him pop up playing Julia Roberts love interest in Erin Brockovich then a cop in The Pledge. Most recentley he's been in The Core, Possesion, The Missing and Paycheck.
Besides the unusual head...

YAY!
Magnificent actor - highpoints always with Neil LaBute, exceptional in IN THE COMPANY OF MEN, good in YOUR FRIENDS & NEIGHBOURS, NURSE BETTY and surprising in POSSESSION.

I say YAY. He was very good in POSSESSION. but he was also pretty good in ERIN, THE CORE and THE MISSING.,
Nope. He's nothing special in a career that seems mediocre at best. Welcome to supporting actor hell. Nay.

He should have an Oscar for In the Company of Men. Amazing performance.

A mild YAY, seems to be a pretty good actor in the films I've seen him in.

He's in my current avatar since Thank You For Smoking is now my favorite 06 movie. I better hear his name when the Oscar nominations are announced. He was good in his supporting role in Erin Brockovich as well. Yay for me.

While I'm certainly not trying to start an argument over this, I do think that there's hardly any shame in being a supporting actor; some actors (Joe Pesci comes to mind) are actually better off in that capacity and do their best work in supporting roles.
