Yeah I saw the whole thing a while back, assuming it's the one with Shannen Doherty and Julie Benz in it. It's just laughably bad, a cheap cash in of the Buffy/charmed style programming's popularity. However if you dug The Craft, which it's similar to, or you like 'so bad they're good' b movies (like cyborg 2 or plan 9 from outer space) you might get something from it.

EDIT- I wasn't sure about this so I checked imdb, which confirmed the Doherty/Benz 2000 version was in fact a remake of a 1973 movie, so you'd have to check which version of the movie you're talking about- I know nothing about the earlier version.

I watched this movie last nite on TV and it was ok! Shannen Dorherty is a witch in this like she is in Charmed but I like it though! She's a good actress!

The old one in 1973 sucks major ass! It is however, good for laughs. The chick at the movies intro is a really bad actress...and her scream almost had me choking laughing.

Don't buy it! For only $10, you can get the DVD horror 4-pack which includes: Satan's School For Girls, Don't Look in the Basement, House on Haunted Hill (original), and Silent Night, Bloody Night. I own it, and was selling it for 5 bucks, but I already sold it to a lovely schmoe!

But I'm not sure if you're talking about the old version, or new version. (The 4-Pack contains the old version)

Is the newer one on DVD? A few years back it wasn't yet. I saw it on TV quite a long time ago, I think it was 1997 or something, when it first aired. I liked the TV one with Doherty and Benz. I'm not interested in seeing the 73' original though. If I saw the newer one at Wal-Mart, I'd probably pick it up. I'll have to look the next time I'm there.

Wait, there was a remake of Satan's School for Girls?

Why?

Because remakes are easier to do than thinking up something new. Also charmed is fairly popular so casting Doherty as a character who is pretty much identical to her charmed role in all but name, does kinda make sense I suppose.

Still I have to ask, why Satan's School for Girls? There are plenty of better girl school witch movies out there to remake. But they probably could pull it off as orignal since practically no one saw the original.
