A pretty good sign that a movie sucks is if Anthony Anderson is in it. His filmography:
Life
Trippin'
Liberty Heights
Romeo Must Die
Big Momma's House
Me, Myself & Irene
Urban Legends: Final Cut
Kingdom Come
See Spot Run
Exit Wounds
Two Can Play That Game
Barbershop
Kangaroo Jack
Cradle 2 the Grave
Malibu's Most Wanted
Scary Movie 3
I'll admit that Barbershop has its admirers (I'm not really one of them; I gave it a 6/10), but who likes that movie because of him? And I also admit I like Two Can Play That Game (7/10), but despite of him, not because. (And it's a good thing that I don't remember him at all in Liberty Heights.) Really, his resumé reads like a roll-call of mediocrity; could that possibly be to the fact that Anderson is a no-talent assclown who thinks overacting equals funny?
And now the overbearing annoyance has got a sitcom on the WB. Isn't that a form of Hollywood jail? Take another look at his criminal list of movies and realize that he's getting off easy. I mean, really: See Spot Run AND Kangaroo Jack??? Has he no dignity, no concern for his career?
And what can we look forward to in 2004? Let's see:
My Baby's Daddy. Plot: A trio of young men are forced to grow up quick when their girlfriends all become pregnant around the same time.
Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London. Does anything need to be said?
Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. Plot: Two twenty-something stoner roommates -- one a Korean American investment banker; the other an Indian American medical school candidate -- go through a life changing journey, as they spend a night roaming the state of New Jersey in search of White Castle hamburgers.
A hat trick of cinematic shame. If only he consulted me about that last one. Hey, Anthony! There's a 24/7 White Castle on Route 73 in Pennsauken (next to an eleven-screen multiplex)! Can you spare us the movie now? Please?

Heh heh, a WB sitcom. One step away from opening for Carrot Top on the comedy club circuit.
