Who would actually don the cape and cowl?

Seriously. In OUR world, who here would really devote their lives to being the superhero.

Some people would want to because its cool, I mean "Hey, Im freakin' Batman!" is a sentence most people would find themselves uttering.

Ive actually given this some thought though. DOnt know why, maybe Im really going crazy from all these years of being a writer, but hey its all fun on these boards.

I mean if I won the lottery, a BIG one mind you, Id fight crime. Hell yes! Seriously, cops are the closest thing pretty much, but they dont just prowl the darkest dark alleys at all hours of the night and what not.

No great harm has been done to me like Bruce Wayne, but I would still be willing to give up everything to help people in need in ways that dont exist now. Its kinda nuts but I would, if I had the necessary resources.

So who here would? Why? We could play with some fan fiction here, but Im serious.

Please, Dont close this. I think it might be quite interesting to see what people say on their own reasons. And also on Brice Waynes as well.

If I had no immediate family and such, I MIGHT, but it would be a big maybe. There's too much risk for my family, and I wouldn't want them to worry about me. Plus, you wouldn't quite have the technology that Bats has. It wouldn't be as fun as the movies make it out, I'm sure. Plus, then you'd get some quack trying to be Joker or something. Plus, the law probably wouldn't be so cooperative with a real renegade than in the films or comics. But I might, but only if I had nothing else to lose.
