well... are you talking about any kind of fight scene. Gun shoot-outs. Or maybe just hand-to-hand fights. Or maybe a scene where there are thousands of men fighting (like Braveheart). Are you including everything??

Coolest hand-to-hand fight:
Jim Kelly vs Kien Shih in Enter The Dragon.
'Man, you come straight out of a comic book'

Coolest shoot-out:
Silencer attack on Precint 13 in, Assault on Precint 13.

Coolest war scene -reality:
Final battle from Platoon was pretty intense, as was the final battle from Saving Private Ryan. Bridge scene from Apocalypse Now was the most interesting.

Coolest war scene -fantasy:
Starship Troopers, whole thing.

Coolest space battle
Battle of Yavin from Jedin with Admiral Akbar. Ludicrous strategy by the rebels, but the most exciting space-battle ever.

Coolest Shoot Out without a doubt is the big one in Heat. I don't think I've seen any action sequence that gets the adrenaline pumping like that one.

The start of Saving Private Ryan ranks up there as well.

in my opinion the coolest shoot out is at the end of THE WILD BUNCH. Four cowboys who practically take out half of the Mexican Army.

The best shoot out EVER would have to be the mexican stand-off in Face Off. That scene kicks so much ass.

And of course, the best war scene ever in my opinion is the Normandy sequence from Saving Private Ryan.

The opening fight/flight sequence in Crouching Tiger (I damn near applauded...)
