"Wild" Bill Paxton. THE PAX. Bill Paxton.
Whatever you choose to call him, the guy is a solid actor and a great director, with one of the most impressive directing debuts I've ever seen on his resume.
In front of the camera, he's da man. Simon from True Lies is one of my favorite comedic characters EVER, and I think most people are familiar with his kick arse role as Hudson in Aliens.
THE PAX. Keep up the ace work, bro.
YAY
In addition to the excellent work he did In TRUE LIES three roles jump to mind:
WEIRD SCIENCE - Bill played obnoxious brother Chet, torturing Wyatt and Gary through the film.
"You're stewed, buttwad." :p
TWISTER - Playing Bill, the tornado chasing hero trying to get his life together after his divorce from Jo (Helen Hunt), while attempting to help Jo deploy a sensor pack to follow tornado wind patterns.
"Why can't we have a normal day?"
ALIENS - As Corporal Hicks, Paxton is hilarious.
"In case you're not up on current events, we just got our asses kicked!"
Two thumbs up. YAY from me.

Hahaaaa, nice.
Billy gets a huge yay from me. He's been in some fantastic movies and always brings something a little different to each one. I think his performance in Apollo 13 is his best, but his turns in Aliens, True Lies and Frailty are all top notch as well.
He even delivers one of the greatest lines in all of cinema in The Terminator.
"Nice night for a walk, huh?"
:D
YAY.

How could you not love The Pax. YAY!!!!
He gets a big thumbs up from me because not only is he the PAX, he's also, that's right, in Club Dread. Therefore if Club Dread is good enough for the Pax, then it's good enough for me. Yay+1.

:D
He was the best thing about ALIENS
JC wrote a funny role just for Pax, and The Pax delivered it well, very well... I gotta say JC writes some great dialogue, and I'm glad Pax was casted for the role of Hudson, what a funny guy. Ultimate Badass, but a chickenshit lmao.
"Well that's great, that's just fuckin' great man, now what the fuck are we supposed to do? We're in some real pretty shit now man... That's it man, game over man, game over, man! Game over! What the fuck are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do?"
The Man is a pure comedian.

I saw him on Kilborn one time and his wacked out behavior and hyper antics really endeared him to me.
Sweet Jesus, this post was pointless.

He's a superb supporting actor, and has really done well because he knows how he's effective. I hope to see him in movies for years and years to come.
Yay
