Ok, this is from the Star, but still, too fucking funny...
Mary-Kate Can't Wait
Wednesday January 7, 2004
MARY-KATE OLSEN, 17, may have many talents, but patience isn't one of them. The millionaire twin princess waited in line for 15 minutes on Dec. 5 at her neighborhood Starbucks in Encino, Calif., then began to complain bitterly, according to a witness. Customers in front tried to console her, but this made her more argumentative, until one man shouted, "Shut up, you little brat!" Then everyone started asking questions at the register to make the line even longer. When she finally got to the front 30 minutes later, she threw down her money for four Frappuccinos and waltzed out.

People who are rich and famous sometimes forget one thing....they're still people not gods !

She should have just bought the Starbucks and had them deliver the frapawhatevers to her.

Was this the ONLY Starbucks in the area. Here in SF theres one every Block. The Loews Theater has 3. One in the building and 2 in front and across from the building. And 15-30 min to get up to the line? I can understand her frustration of waiting but slamming your money on the counter? Thats a bit uncalled for.

Ashley (on left) - Hi! Sorry were Late!
Mary-Kate - We just came back from buying a slew of Starbucks locations in the Encino area

That's what I was thinking.
Then again, her parents probably need that money to buy themselves some more Jaguars.

Hm...this is very disturbing. From now on should she come over to my house for her coffee needs.

The man who told her to shut up is officially my personal hero.

I wish she'd start an affair with Ike Turner.

And fire the workers that made her wait too long that day.

I feel so bad for her, I mean, the closest to the one she was in was 2 stores down. Poor girl...

Note to self: "When I become famous, remember not to lose my temper in a restaurant/coffee chain."
It'd been hella sweet for the Star gazette to write a story on me throwing mundo slices of unrequested tomatoes at the Burger King drive-thru window.

Um...that would be never. And they are kind of homely, IMO.

But still, one must wonder, how does Mary-Kate Olsen being annoyed at a Starbucks make the news?
Geez, she's got it easy. On new year's eve, there were about 5 Starbucks in a 2-block area, and the lines for all 5 went well out the door and into the street. I don't drink coffee, thank god, so my sacrifice was limited to not waiting with my friends.:D

I know, right. Someone in a third world country just got shot in the face, and we have to hear about this crap. And if this sounds familiar, yes, I've said that before.

Does being rich and famous make everyone exempt from snapping inside restaurants and coffee shops?
It's kind of funny to laugh at, but as a wise character once said... "We all go a little crazy sometimes".

I still don't see this story stopping creepy 30-somethings from making a huge celebration in Times Square when she is legal.

I think she's getting a bad rap here- anytime I've waited in any line for 30 minutes, ALL the people in line are making nasty remarks. Maybe the real story here isn't that Mary kate was bitching but that all of the other people in line were so damn patient. :) 30 minutes for a cup of coffee- yikes!
