While randomly surfing the web I stumbled on something from the mid to late 80's called Fright Flicks trading cards. They featured Freddy on the cover of the packs and they were cards showing shots from various horror movies of the time including Nightmare on Elm Street 1 and 2, The Fly, etc. They have some of them on eBay. I grew up during this time but I sure as hell don't remember these. Anybody else heard of them? I may bid on some.

Aye, I bought a pack off eBay.
They contain a sticker and 6-8 cards (can't remember). The cards have scenes from different horror films on them (I had Ghostbusters 2, Fright Night, NOES 4 etc), and on the back is a description of the scene.
But for God's sake, DON'T EAT THE GUM!!

I grew up then too. I don't remember these cards. Only ones I remember are Garbage Pale Kids.

When I was little I had the whole set. They were a big thing at my school.

I love these cards! Back around 5th grade, in '96 I'm pretty sure, I picked up the entire set at a toy & collectible show for about $8, and my friends and I spent hours staring at them and debating the usual horror topics. They're extremely cool, and I still display my "Freddy for President" sticker card in my room. Also, the Pumpkinhead cards still list the film by the name "Vengeance: The Demon", but maybe that changed with different printings.
