Nick Lachey = Next Action Hero?

Im reading my new EW magazine that came today and they have a somewhat interview with Nick Lachey (of Newlyweds Fame). In it he says that he has hired an additional manager, who'll focus on landing him some acting jobs. Nick says he wants to become the next action movie hero like his idols Bruce Willis and Harrison Ford. He also says: "I also like to think that at some point I would have acting chops, and like Bruce Willis eventually did Pulp Fiction, I'd do smaller, more artsy kinds of films."


I think its safe to say that he will never be as good as Willis was in Pulp Fiction, and that he also will never be in a movie as good as Pulp Fiction.

However, Nick is definitely the smarter of the 2 (Jessica being the other), Nick will never become the 'next action hero' he wants to be. People just arent gonna buy it.


Sorry Nick, stick to singing and cleaning up after your hot, retarded wife.

Bruce Willis was very smart in his career- it takes a lot of humility to be a super- mega action star and then take secondary roles in other movies. More stars should do this.
Nick seems kind of charismatic to me- I have no idea if he can act but he should try it cause it doens't seem likely that his singing career will be all he might want it to be.

I've never seen him act or anything so I have no idea if he has the chops to succeed. I'd give him a chance though. Just like I'd give any new actor a chance.
