I'm not sure how hard he works at it, but I think Jude Law qualifies.

Any celebrity who can actually afford to buy more than a few pairs of clothing from Abercombie and Fitch

Um, I can't think of any other "metros" off hand, but Lynn, I do know that is the best avatar I have ever seen. I can die a happy man now. Well played.

Yes...my face with random song lyrics pasted over it is the best avatar ever. ;)

Ryan Seacrest is a huge metrosexual. How much does he spend on his hair?

I am not really into the whole metrosexual thing. I don't want to be with a guy who spends hours longer getting ready than I do. Too much prissy preppy nonsense for my taste.

That being said, I think Nick Lachey is a bit of a metrosexual.

"We're here, we're not queer, but we're close!"

I love South Park, and I think they hit it right on the head with the hammer, well in their own way. This Metrosexual thing is just a fad and will last a little while until the new craze comes along: Dressing up like CRAB PEOPLE!

Yep.

Aparently, Nate's milkshake is better than mine.

And, yes, I do know what the song is supposed to be talking about. That only makes it worse.

Believe me, I've been there.

It was worth the trip, but I felt a little dissapointed.

Alas, I must get back on topic.

I'm thinking about coming out to my parents about being a metrosexual, but I dont know how they'll take it. I am worried they will abandon me and take away all my diesel jeans and Express shirts that I have hidden away.

:D just kidding

Tom Cruise. And I mean that positively.
Billy Zane. Ditto from the above.
Ryan Phillipe. He takes pride in himself and it shows.
Jude Law. As if there was any doubt.
And something is making me say Pierce Brosnan, and I mean that in the postive way.

I'm gonna say ALL male pop stars and about 70% of male celebrities in general. If you spend more time on your hair than a teenager girl getting ready for prom and wear designer clothes...I truly can't believe you still like chicks.

I must say, Lynn, you're the only one who feels that way. 99% of those who have The Nate Experience agree that once you go Nate, you can never go back.

Anyways, I think Quentin makes an excellent point, especially about the male pop stars. Definitely something going on there.

It just wasn't worth the price of admission.

Admission. Get it?

God, that's sick.

Sorry, but I just hate the whole "metrosexual" label. Granted, I'm not the epitome of high fashion (what with my "electrocuted Wolverine" hairdo and my Denzel Washington/OUT OF TIME array of Hawaiian shirts), but something strikes me stupid about having to label guys who make themselves a little more fashionable than usual. Whatever happened to just a dude using too much hair gel?

Well, minus the "spending an excessive amount of time grooming", I might be considered metrosexual. I wear clothes from Banana Republic, Gap, etc. I mousse my hair.

People seem to be saying that pride in one's appearance is a bad thing.

But, I take no more than ten minutes to get ready, shower included.
