I think it's extremely hard to guess at something like this, some films could turn out to be huge dissapointments and others nice suprises. However I would not be suprised in the least to see Gangs of New York, Memento, Baby Boy, or Ocean's Eleven on my top 10 at the end of 2001...

my guesses:
1. Pearl Harbor
2. Ali
3. Final Fantasy
4. Gangs of the New York
5. Simone
6. The Majestic
7. Monsters Inc.
8. Adaptation
9. A.I.
10. City by the Sea
other promissing titles: Rod Lurie's Untitled Prison Project, Windtalkers, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, We Were Soldiers Once... and Young, The Shipping News, K-Pax, A Beautiful Mind, The Bourne Identity, Atlantis, Moulin Rouge, Shrek, and Angel Eyes. I also have not seen Memento yet and that looks like it could be a winner. The best movie of the year so far is Blow but the only way that will make the top 10 list is if it is a really weak year.

I almost forgot, the Lord of the Rings movie looks pretty promissing too. Looks like it could be a classic along the lines of Star Wars

A.I. - 8/10?
The Mummy Returns - 7/10?
Angel Eyes - 9/10
House of 1000 Corpses (I hope it comes out this year) - 10/10
Scary Movie 2 - 7/10
Jurassic Park 3 - 8/10

Rush Hour 2 - 7/10
Ghost of Mars - 8/10
Soul Survivors - 7/10
Planet of The Apes - 8/10

This year doesn't really look so good.

I think the box office goes to :

Jurassic Park 3
The Mummy Returns (Well I know that... 70.1 million!!)
Scary Movie 2
America's Sweethearts (If it has some good trailers this is sure to get lots of dough, I mean that cast!!!)
American Pie 2 (Horny teens rejoice!! )
Planet of the Apes
Rush Hour 2

Just some guesses - Prob. all wrong but, /ubb/smile.gifh well!!
