I just recently wrapped filming on my film "Enter the Dagon". It is currently in post-production. It will be playing at Scary Camp convention in Dayton, OH in May & possibly the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival in Oregon in October.
The film is a Lovecraftian Martial Arts Mockumentary. Think "This is Spinal Tap" with Bruce Lee and H.P. Lovecraft thrown into the confusion.
The trailer can be viewed here:

I'll be shocked if you can keep this original and interesting over a longer period of time, but, for what it's worth, I found the trailer to be pretty amusing.
(The catch being that it's amusing in a very amateurish way. The fact that it's a spoof let's you get away with that, for a little while. Don't overstay your welcome.)

The end result should be about 20 minutes long. Yes, comedy definately allows some wiggle room for zero budget productions like ours.
Glad you were amused. :)

It was all shot on digital video.
We had two Mini-DV cameras on set most of the time so we could have alternate angles. It wasn't always possible though.

Thanks. We got our sound FX for the trailer from http://www.findsounds.com/
It's a nice web resource. A search engine specifically for sound effects. The sound will most likely alter during the movie edit. We only used two different kick sounds in the trailer. I'd like to mix it up a bit more than that.
Here is our Spinning Grave page with out-takes, stills and the complete script.

I encouraged a lot of improvisation on my set, so the finished film will vary about 25% from the script in my estimation. All of the Dexter Burt Ward stuff that appears in the trailer is entirely improv. I just told the actor, John Karyus, to give me a 5 minute rant in character. We then picked out three bits from his rant for the trailer. The rant most likely won't be in the movie itself.
