From Davisdvd.com...

Universal Home Video has just announced the release 21 Grams on March 16th. The film, starring Sean Penn and Naomi Watts, will come with a 1.85:1 anamorphic transfer, along with Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround Tracks. Bonus materials are still TBA. Retail is $26.98.

Well, that was certainly a speedy transition from theatre to video...The film hasn't opened near me yet, and it probably won't, so at least I'll get to see it on DVD/video fairly soon.

I would not say as fast as the Simple Life collection on DVD. They were selling it before the Show was over. Fastest I have seen.

Yeah, same here. This news actually really pleases me, because it's likely my theater would have never gotten it.

Awesome news! Since my theatre sucks and never gets the smaller movies in like this, I never got a chance to see it so I'm dying to check it out. Will definately be renting this March 16th.

Why is there a DTS track on it? There's no action. It's all dialogue driven.

I loved this movie. Saw it this week. It was fucking awesome, second best of the year after Dogville. This is great news, I'll definitely buy this.

I'm glad it's not in mono, I wouldn't want to catch it :D.

Anyway, that was extremely quick. I actually think this will still come around me, but if it does I may as well not even go see it now, since it will be on DVD soon. I may as well just see something else that probably won't be out as soon.
