Hi, I've recently realised that my dvd player plays region 1 dvd's as well as region 2's so I've recently been on a kick of buying region 1's (so much stuff that you can't get over here) and replacing my current R2 dvds with R1's since I intend on living over there after college anyway (....but enough about me:rolleyes: )
Well anyway, one of the dvds I intend on getting is the R1 book of the dead edition evil dead DVD and well according to Amazon it's one minute shorter!! (that doesn't seem like alot but it's evil dead!!!) are the US copies of this movie uncut?? just about every english version proudly advertises themselves as being the full uncut version and runs the same one minute longer, none of the american ones I've seen actually advertise this??
I heard in my video production class that apparently R1 & R2's run at different speeds (god that was a boring lesson:o) would this have anything to do with it?? I brought the limited edition ED 2 dvd (mainly for the cool cover) and that was supposed to be longer than the brittish one (which it wasn't, I think it was slightly darker as well) so what's the deal?? I wanna make sure I get all the dismemeberments and tree rape for my bucks...
