A thread like this would fit better in the Book Forum. BTW, I have no idea what book this is, so a better start for a thread would be if you would tell something about the book first.

But if you are intending to adapt the book yourself, get the rights first.

I liked SnowCrash - but it would need a few things, as a movie, such as:
1.) I think that it would need like a stronger relationship between the guy hacker and the girl message cyclist. Like a love story. So, she might have to be at leasts 18, instead of 14. And, maybe a love triangle between the girl cyclist, the haker protagonist and the big assassin guy.

2.) It would be a real challenge to explain the McGuffin to the audience - I mean this whole thing about the Tower of Babble and a virus that can weave it's way not only into the Internet but into the basic "operating system" of the human brain (aka a neurovirus) would be tough to explain. But you know I did get the Matrix first time around.

1.) More action, more fights, more different kinds of fights
