Try mixing ketchup, barbercue sauce and tobasco sauce.... mmmmmmm:rolleyes:

Corn syrup, red food coloring, and a little evaporated milk to give it some opacity. I purchased some "Hollywood" blood, but was much happier with the blood made using the above ingredients.

yeah this is the one I use too, I use different mixtures for different shots though I use this blood for medium shots. I use some thicker mixtures for close ups and when I'm spraying it I use water, flour and a shit load of tropical punch kool aid mix (no shit) it works well I think

I need to make some blood for my short movie, and have been on the lookout for good corn syrup and red food coloring. I was at the store tonight, and the only dyes I could find were in a small box, mainly advertising its use in cake mixes and easter eggs. Do you think it'd still mix well to make realistic looking blood?
