I've just discovered that Twin Peaks Series 1 & 2 are available in a single DVD boxset that has only been released in Spain (as far as i'm aware). I was hoping that any Spanish schmoes could perhaps point me in the direction of an online Spanish DVD store that delivers to the UK. Thanks in advance.

I know. But everytime I see one selling on Ebay UK it goes for a mint. I'm not rich right now so I wanted to see how much it cost from the source.

You should ask Damned Martian, he's from Spain.
Psychocandy I dunno about spanish websites but the word on the street is that if you're gonna have to pay a lot for the spanish dvd it ain't worth it- it's got no extras and lynchnet.com describes the picture as 'poor, not much better than vhs'. dugpa.com says paramount have the rights to release the series everywhere outside the usa* and says the set has a release date of 14th october in australia and shortly afterwards elsewhere, so I think better versions are coming. Hopefully. Maybe.
*Artisan who own the usa rights recently said season 1 didn't sell well enough to bother doing season 2, although rumours suggest this ain't the whole story. Word round the campfire says that Artisan own the rights to release all spelling shows in R1, however, paramount own the original film negatives of twin peaks season 2 and are under no obligation to hand them over to artisan, leading to an impasse.

Since I'm probably one of the biggest lynch fans ever, I've been following this story for quite some time. Here is the latest I've seen courtesy of Twinpeaksgazette.com
-December 2003-
Brian over at www.dugpa.com has come up with some interesting news, and it's good news in general for anyone living outside of Region 1. According to dugpa.com, Paramount plans to release season 2 on DVD in 2004, probably September 2004 which seems to confirm our previous news below. The added news to this though is that rumor has it that Paramount is asking Lynch to be involved with the DVD. Dugpa.com reminds everyone that this is still very early in production and anything can happen. For those of us in Region 1 (US, Canada), we still don't know what is going on exactly. Sources at Artisan keep confirming they are working on it but who knows at this point. Hopefully with Artisan being purchased by Lion's Gate, we will see something change.
-November 2003-
A variety of websites seem to be indicating that Season 2 of Twin Peaks will be released next September and October in Australia. The DVD will be released by Paramount who has rights to most (if not all) other regions but Region 1 (North America). The rumor is that it will be released in two parts. Part 1 will contain four discs and will be released September 9th, and the second 4 set of discs will be released October 7. Supposedly, the box set (contain all discs) will be released on Oct 7 too. Of course, all dates are subject to change. If this is true, then Americans might need to consider buying Region Free DVD players unless Lions Gate decides to also release Region 1 of Season 2.
