Something that I've noticed is that all the screenplays that I see, wether it be on the web or in a book store, do not double space after their sentences.

EX: Single
Guess where I went. I went to the circus. 1 space.
EX: Double
Guess where I went. I went to the circus. 2 spaces.

It is almost unnoticable, but if you only single space throughout an entire feature length, it may save you a page or 3. I am not concerned about the length of my screenplay anymore. I've gotten it down to a reasonable #, but I am just wondering which one I should use.

Proper english says to double-space, but every screenplay, and most novels only single-space after sentences. Which one are you supposed to use?

In a fixed-width font, you are supposed to use two spaces after a period. In a proportional-width font, you are supposed to use one.

Courrier being a fixed-width font, you should probably use two, but I don't think anyone will care if you use one.

I doubt you'll save three pages from this, unless you get really lucky.

Thanks. It's not about saving pages, I just want it to look as proffessional as I possibly can.

Speaking of the search function (http://www.joblo.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70259) (which is linked just below the ad at the top of the page), look what searching for "double space" in this forum turned up:
