I dont have a great tiele but, how about we make a game, and when 1 of us says a name of a movie, the next person has to change the plot of the movie, but still like the movie... Heres a Example

FIGHT CLUB

2 friends fight over control for a fight/terrorist Group...

See...Its easy Ill start....

Big Fish

A father tells his son stories about how when he was young, he posted a dumb thread on a messageboard that didn't really have anything to do with Filmmaking or Screenwriting.

Big Fish
Steve Buscemi steals every scene he's in and has me laughing my head off.

Wait, that really happened.

Let's make this more interesting:

Here are the new rules! (yes, I'm hijacking this ill-perceived game...)

#1 We start with a title (Big Fish will do nicely for this example)

#2 The next poster (YOU, yes YOU) has to (very generally and with much equivocation - look those terms up before you make a fool of yourself! :) ) give us a brief premise for a film that already exists which could fit the title.

So the next poster could write " BIG FISH - An old sailor and a marine biologist (?) team up to catch a big fish which is eating people at the seaside".

#3 The poster after that must recognise the film which has been outlined (JAWS, of course) and---

#4 they are now going to do step two. They could write "JAWS - "Aliens with an insatiable appetite arrive on earth, determined to turn the human race into burgers" - it's a weak link, buy, hey, you think of a better one.

By all means, if this thread is illegal shut it down :) But this could make for some interesting confusions.

If this gets greenlighted, let's start with "BLOW" ;)

It sounds like a fun game, so probably take it over to general movie games or something.
Not filmmaking/screenwriting.
