I really like this chapter because Jason is really impressive and the heroine is interesting.
I also like the fact the heroine has mental-powers and she's a good fighter, Jason suffers a lot from her attacks.
I also like the female cast who is nice on the eyes.
This chapter is very entertaining and the FX are well done and convincing.
The photography is better than in the other chapters,too ( expect 4 and 6 )

Agreed. This is one of the better Friday sequels. Kane kicked ass and good gore and storyline.

I like parts 3,4,7 the best followed by 1 and 2.

jason kicked ass and took names (esp. on Dr. Crews...what a dickhead) :mad:

however, the part at the end w/her dad was kind of cheesy, in my personal opinion

Another entertaining Friday featuring some good kills(although they were cut out gore wise), a cool looking Jason, and some good t&a.

The WORST edition of the franchise apart from JASON GOES TO HELL. They clearly struggled to find a plot line and obviously thought a girl with telekinetic powers battling JASON was a good idea. It's more like a comic strip like BATMAN VS SUPERMAN or some shit! I, for one, was rather disappointed when JASON turns into the undead zombie in JASON LIVES. Even though he still kicks ass I prefered the first four entries when he was semi human. It was more scary IMO. The lead girl was the ugliest yet and the CHRISTOPHER REEVE look alike lead male was so wooden he made pinnochio look like a real boy. This is the ony F13 movie that has that straight to cable feel, and the lack of gore and the way the end credits zoom up the screen make this seem more apparant.

However, I've had my diss. It's a JASON movie. It still kicks major fucking ass and is brilliant fun to watch. I just prefer the others.

Got to disagree. The whole movie is set around the camp site, showing about two different cabins. The budget looks like it was about $1 million. Even though JASON TAKES MANHATTAN looks very straight to video, it manages to have a glossy look with decent shots of Manhattan to prove otherwise.

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood is the best in the series. It had a great stroryline, a likeable heroine, and some great kills. I hope someday we get to see the uncut version.

Here's another fan for part 7. I love the subject of telekinesis and besides Carrie, this is the only film I saw more of it. I found the ending conflict to be very satisfying and Tina was a good actress. Sure, some of it was cheesy but it all is by this point.

Count me in on the "I liked it" list.

This was the best looking zombie Jason so far. This was Kane's best Jason. The make up was just fantastic.

The movie is pretty much standard stuff until the showdown. But for what the series is worth, its pretty damn good.

AHH! My favorite Jason flick! I dont know why but I love this movie. Its really fast paced, has a lot of good kills and of course Kane can play Jason blind, deaf, and dumb. Not to mention Jason himself was a visual treat, he looked the best in this film.

8/10 solid slasher.

Wow!! So many fans of this installment!! Being a massive F13 fan I almost feel bad for what I said about it!!! But having said that I WOULD say I'll watch it again and give it another chance!! But it was my LEAST favourite until I watched JASON GOES TO HELL again and realised how sucky that one is!!!

But I will check out JASON'S make up again.
