Alien 3 question

in the alien quadrilogy, there is a shot in Alien 3, outside showing a satellite i think, about 70 mins. throught the movie. but the shot is so staticy, and horrible quality. i was wonderin if it was suppost 2 b like that, or ifs its a defect on mine. does anyone know?

Well, there's a lot of shit flying around outside in all of the exterior scenes in that movie, so much so that when I first saw the flick some twelve years ago, I thought it was grain. But then again, you only noticed it in that one scene, so I guess I'm wrong.

its supposed to be like that i think and i think its a deleted scene added to the uncut version and that is why the quality isn't as good as the rest of the movie and if you pay attention they add subtitles to some parts cuz the sound isn't that great for the deleted parts
