Britney to produce and star in new movie

Britney Spears has made a deal to produce and star in a new Hollywood movie.

She's signed up for Door to Door, an adaptation of a novel by Tobi Tobin, reports Variety.

Published by MTV Books, the project is about an ambitious teenage beauty who leaves Michigan to become an actress in Los Angeles.

Spears made her screen starring debut in Crossroads. She's also said to be in talks to star in The Dukes of Hazzard and In the Pink.

Being a guy, I might find Britney hot if she didn't look like some cheap prostitute in most of her videos. See, I prefer women who at least show some semblance of actual intelligence, rather than anyone who does everything short of screaming, "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"
