Julliet Lewis... Overrated or not?

Heres the question of the day kiddies. Whada we think of Julliet Lewis???

She does seem to play stupid roles quite well and behind the scenes appears to stay in that method acting style ;)

So is Julliet Lewis and overrated actress who uses her own stupid persona to pass it off as acting.... or

is she quite a good actress that could pull of any role handed to her?

For some reason I started disliking her after Strange Days.....dunno why.
I NEVER bothered w/ Natural Born Killers because this movie equals to Kill Bill, but thats just my opinion. She played opposite Giovanni Ribsi (ugh!) & Diane Keaton (who is the reason why I watched this movie in The Other Sister & was Jennifer Lopez's best friend in sooooooooo I was begining to like her again. And she was one of the guest celebs on VH-1's I Love The 80's. But her appearance in [b]Old School... Let's NOT go there.:D

To really be an overrated actress, doesn't it normally mean she would've had to be very critically acclaimed? The only movie I recall where she was acclaimed was Cape Fear, about 10 years ago.

Personally, I think she's a pretty bad actress, and definitely not hot. She was tolerable in The Way of the Gun though, at times

I really don't think Juliette Lewis' film career should be of any importance to anyone, since its pretty much over already. Tonight, he latest film entitled "Chasing Freedom" premieres on the Court TV channel. Personally, I think that's a sign of the very end for her..... ;)

Her voice bothers me quite a bit. Her acting is so-so ,as long as she has as few lines as possible, shes definitely watchable. Something like Old School.

She's one of my favorite actors. She kicked ass in films such as From Dusk Till Dawn, Natural Born Killers, and The Way of the Gun. She definitely showed her acting side in Kalifornia, The Other Sister, and What's Eating Gilbert Grape . Some of those films are my favorite. Not to mention I think she's absolutely gorgeous, and her voice is just fine...thanks! :)

Yes she's overrated. She's done quite a few good to great movies but most of the time she's the worst thing about them. I find her annoying most of the time. The only performance of hers that I thought she was excellent in was in The Way of the Gun. She impressed me there but nowhere else. Not even in the great movies she's been in like Kalifornia and Strange Days.

I was SO glad that she was only briefly in the begining of Old School and then disappeared from the movie.

She's in one of my favorite movies Strange Days. I think given the right material, (which she has not chosen as of late) she could get some good roles.

I for one consider her extremely hot (think of her "Ritchie, would you eat my pussy, please?" moment from FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, 1996) and reasonably talented. Sorta like the smaller version of the equally underrated Laura Dern.

Sorry, but she is definitely overrated. She isn't anything to look at. The reason she fits so well into roles like KALIFORNIA and NATURAL BORN KILLERS is because they are skanky characters. She is very much a skank. She was dreadful in those films, regardless. Then of course there's her appearance in CAPE FEAR, which was laughable. She never once had me convinced in FROM DUSK TILL DAWN that she could pull off the character she was trying to be. I'm just not impressed with her. She has no style. She is monotone. Her drawl is like nails on a chalkboard to me. She is every bit the trailer park reject.

She has been in more movies than most famous celebs yet the everday joe has no clue who she is. Im nuetral she hasn't really impressed me or made me dislike her.
