Well, my question is pretty simple: What are xome good web sites to find some freelance screenwriting gigs?
I know of one: Entertainment Careers.net (http://www.entertainmentcareers.net)
And theres all of ONE actualy screenwriting jobs there.
Anybody know any others?
This could benefit everybody.

Here's the thing.
The good jobs-- the non-exploitative, living-wage-paying, films-and-tv-shows-you-might-actually-want-to-watch jobs...
They don't advertise on the internet. They're not looking to hire someone they don't know. They're going to call the writer's they know and who's stuff they like, and ask them to come in and pitch their project.
How do you get on the list of people they call? Pretty simple. They read your stuff and they like it. That's the fate of most spec scripts-- even most good ones. People read it, like it, want to meet you. This repeats a few times, they decide you're not a flash in the pan, and then they start considering you for stuff they're looking for writers for.

I thought this thread was about how to good a job as a reader or assistant to someone... jobs about screenwriting but don't exactly involve the person writing themselves.
Anyone know how to get those jobs?

Yuo have to call up and ask the companies. I did it here in Texas, all FIvE of them, and nu uh. But in NY or LA, theyre probably rip ewith them .
