Get the new Mei Ah version. A DTS track that is quite the improvement over the other versions. I got mine of E-Bay for only 9.99 including tax.

Which DVD are you wanting to get? Don't count on the Criterion Collection DVD, they're way overpriced on ebay, some reaching as high as $240. The disc I got was a bootleg of the CC, but most of the extras don't work. Really good movie though

It doesn't seem like there are any versions of it that are widely available for some reason.

I'm glad I picked up the Fox Lorber The Killer/Hard Boiled boxed set last year while it was around, if just to have something(transfers aren't that good and the audio's mono)

you can get the killer and hard boiled (uncut) for like 30 brand new at this one guys site. (I'll find it)

or just do what I did go to library get hard boiled criterion
burn copy

very easy and cheap
