Just in from HBO Home Video is a May 4tth debut for Gus Van Sant's controversial and acclaimed look at the Columbine tragedy, Elephant. The disc will be light on extras, with both anamorphic widescreen and full screen transfers and Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 surround tracks, plus the featurette "Rolling Through Time" and theatrical trailers. Retail will be $27.95.


I will definitely check the film out. Looks great.

Most excellent. I wouldnt have expected any extras at all on the disc, but grooviness on the featurette. I'll definately be picking this up.

I really like it, HOWEVER, I don't like that there's a picture in the way blocking the elephant. I think they should get rid of the picture completely, or at least move it to a corner somewhere or something so it's not blocking the elephant. It would have been cool without the picture in the way. That damn picture! ;)

Yeah, I really like it. The cover is great, very similar to the poster. Only one quote which is an improvement of the recent cluttering of DVD covers. I didn't get to catch it in the theaters, but I downloaded it in Italian. :D


I will definitely be picking this one up.

I never got to see this movie and i realy wanted to. I don't think i can wait until may 4th though. that is a long time away. anyone know of any theatres in nyc that are still featuring it?

Yeah, I also got a weird feeling while watching the trailer. Then i watched it in Italian without subtitles and felt really lost even though their isn't a great deal of dialouge.
