Has anyone ever heard the story about the script that susposedly was cursed? I can't really remember what happened with it, all I can is that I saw it on AMC or something and it susposedly had a curse on it for whoever thought about playing the lead role would die. And it is said that John Belushi, John Candy, and Chris Farley all considered it before they died. Interesting conspiracy...

My vote for comic would have to be
Lewis Black. Have you seen this guy? He has a segment on the Daily Show on Comedy Central.
As far as comedy actor, I'll vote with Homersimpson. Far too many to choose.

Charles Chaplin is the greatest comedic actor ever. There is nobody that could even rival him. The best modern day comedian in my opinion is Jim Carrey.

Jim Carrey
Bill Murray
John Candy (he will be missed)
Jack Black
Dan Akyroid
Jason Lee (just for his Kevin Smith flicks)
Adam Sandler (he is getting dumb though)

Special Mention: I love, love the Three Stooges. Nobody did physical comedy like them.

For me, the king will always be Peter Sellers.

My next favorite is a tie between Steve Martin and John Belushi.

Also enjoy Bill Murray, Jack Black, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, and I also used to love watching Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau together (both fine on their own, but funnier together).

• Peter Sellers
(The Party didn't even need dialogue to be hilarious)
• Jim Carrey
(Dumb & Dumber - funniest movie ever)
• Robin Williams
(He is hilarious in comedies, but he can act well in serious roles as well)
