Dawn of the Dead Re-Reease?

I saw on upcoming DVD art that dawn of the dead is being release on March 9th. Anyone ele hear anything about this?

The only shite I've heard is that it'll be a similar release to Day of the Dead. haha, sorry, nothing spectacular from me.

Will this dvd have both the U.S. and directers cut editions?

I think I heard somewhere that it will be three disks but I'm really not sure on that, I don't want to get anyone's hopes up or anything.

This set will be 1disc and will be part of Anchor Bay's DiviMax collection (Halloween 25th Anniversary, Day of the Dead, Time Bandits). It will have the US theatrical version with commentary.

The 3 disc, multi version set is still rumored to be on its way this year... But nothing has been confirmed yet.

I think i'll wait for the 3 or more disk DVD version to be released later this year. I already own the film on VHS so i don't need to have it right away on DVD.

I love this movie but if the one disc version is as loaded as Time Bandits i think thatll do me.

Besides im not sure i could afford the 20 disc, uber-kick your ass-edition coming out later in the year.:)

I heard the three disc will have the regular us cut the 140min director's cut and argento's cut I hear argento's cut is the goriest but I'd have to see it I've only seen the regular us version

I already have Dawn of the Dead on DVD. I found it 2 years ago at Media Play. There's nothing special about it, and the aspect ratio sucks. 1.66:1. I'll get the 3 disc version when it comes out, but then again what if it never does? Screw it I'll get the 1 disc version too.
