LOTR:ROTK Case Color

does anybody know what the color of the case will be for ROTK, The fellowship was Green, The Two Towers was Red, so I'm thinking Return of the King will be blue.

It will most likely be blue, at least if these VERY EARLY TEASER POSTERS (http://www.theonering.net/scrapbook/group/88) are any indication. I remember those came out, like, back in 2000 or something. And I couldn't help but notice the case colors of Fellowship and Two Towers seems to correspond to tehe colors of those teaser posters.

I think blue will break up the natural feel to the covers. I hope it will be dark brown.

I remember a featurette in the FotR EE they showed us the three books; FotR was colored yellow, TT was colored red, and RotK was colored blue. I think they change the FotR's color from yellow to green is because it will look too corny and bright for the DVD covers.

I have a feeling itll be white and gold since Tolkien used alot of wood based colors and plus white and gold are the colors of kings.

I would say blue, but wouldnt be suprised if it was a goldish type.

i cant believe this is actually a post. last night after downing my share of a case of ice house i was laying on my bed and looked over at my dvds. there on the shelf were the 2 lotr dvds and i started thinkin about the color of the next one, i was thinkin ( like a lot of you) that it would be blue.

funny how thinks work out.

I really have no idea what color they will actually be... though I would like to see something that stays in the color scheme with the others... if it's going to be blue... I'm thinking a darker, dull blue color might look pretty good... I don't know that gold would look right, but I trust they'll make it look good whatever they choose.

It will be blue. They have had an offical color for each movie green, red and they gave ROTK blue. Look at all the action figure cases, Fellowship- Green, Two Towers- Red, King- Blue.

If you look up the return of the king dvd at dvd Aficionado its show the cover of the box, its dark blue....

Aye, like the case was brick red/brown, but the cover slip was yellow.

Blue works, just seems like such a passive color for the third movie.
