View Full Version : Sick Victor Salva gossip
The Arrow

THE RUMOR IS: Word on the street is that Mr. Victor Salva (convicted child molester and director of Jeepers Creepers and Clownhouse) introduces himself to people when meeting them as 'The Kiddie Fiddler'!
ARROW NOTE: If he would ever introduce himself to me as such, I would deck him right there on the spot.
Do with that useless bit of info what you will. Just felt like sharing :)

It's not a rumor I'd put much stock into. After all, OJ Simpson doesn't walk around introducing himself as "The Nichole Penetrator" (or maybe not, who knows?)

I was watching the special features for Jeepers Creepers 2 the other day and I found it odd how he kept referring to the teenage boys in the cast as "sweetie".
That's got to be a rumor. He'd have to be out of his friggin' mind to introduce himself as that.

Fan of JC: "Hey dude, did you direct Jeepers Creepers? Awesome movie!"
Salva: "Yeah, I'm the kiddie fiddler."

Why is this evil sack of shit still allowed to direct films?

What he did was repulsive, but some of his material is good. Powder was fantastic.
Of course, he's a sick bastard and should still be in jail, but I wouldn't put down his work for that.

At least Polanski was sorry for what he did...

Hey Arrow, you remember that e-mail I sent you a while back about what I thought about Jeepers Creepers? Probably not, but I did mention that Salva could stand to run his ass around the block a couple times. At least then we could start believing the man's credibility in terms of reforming himself. Excuse the sick humour here, but what kind of kid would want to go along with a guy who rivals Roger Ebert in terms of gelitan body? I mean, the guy doesn't even move when he directs, he sits on a the back of a friggin' trailer underneath an umbrella with the camera there. Don't believe me? Check out the making of documentary on the Jeepers Creepers DVD.

Yeah, that was pretty disturbing. And those boys were hugging him, too!

Yes, the guy is very large. I couldn't believe how large he was when I saw the making of documentary on the JC DVD. But saying he's like Roger Ebert? That's an insult to Ebert. Ebert isn't nearly that big. Everyone always picks on that guy.
Anyway, Salva is like two of Ebert.

I'm sure they did. There's no way they couldn't have known. I'm sure they at least read about him before filming the movie, or going for the audition, and if not, there's no doubt that people would tell them what he did. Plus, I'm sure there would have been on-set gossip between the cast. There's no way they wouldn't have known. They probably slept with him to get the part :p.

Probably because he's an asshole for dissing my fave genre while being ignorant the whole damn time, but that's another story.

Ebert's hatred of the horror genre is really overstated. If you take the time to check out his review database you'll discover plenty of above average reviews for horror flicks.
Even if he did hate the horror genre though and dissed every movie released...that wouldn't make the guy an asshole. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

The horror genre is my favorite genre, but I don't hate him for not loving it like I do. He has liked/loved many horror movies, and disliked/hated many. Even if I disagree with some of his ratings sometimes, I agree with him a lot of times too (Like with MAY, for example). I'm not going to hate him because he has his own opinion. Sometimes I agree with him, sometimes I don't, but that's bound to happen. Everyone has different taste.

Getting back to Victor Salva, he was and probably still is a complete pervert (IMO) and he should still be in prison. I wouldn't want to put my kids anywhere near him...

That's why it's called rape.
And Ebert doesn't hate horror. He likes more of it than you think.

Lyrik, just shut up, okay?
We all know Ebert HATES horror.
I mean, he gave May only 4 stars! He obviously bashes horror.

My wife and I were watching "Sleepaway Camp" the other night (we bought the "Sleepaway Camp Survival Kit" boxset awhile back but she hadn't seen any of them yet) and after all the guys would appear on screen in tight shirts and tight shorts, she finally turned to me and said "Did Victor Salva direct this?" One of the few times my wife caused me to doa real-life spit take....
She's not known for her humor, but for that instant, she cracked me up harder than she has in a long time....and she became a comedy goddess ;-)

This guy is definitely sick. I can't stand to look at him. He's very grotesque.
Plus, Jeepers Creepers 2 was a gay horror film.

You know I'm a girl and I think it's wrong to see a horror movie with more scantily clad guys than there are girls.Unless it's a gay porn horror movie like Jeepers Creepers 2. ;)

Well, considering they're all fully adult, and most of the cast is 20+ years old, I don't know what is so disturbing about it. You might have a point if they were 12 year olds or something.

I agree. They weren't kids, so I don't see what the big deal is.

Salva served time. Has Polanski served time? NO.
If someone is truely sorry they should accept the consequences of their actions.

LOL!!! I am sitting at my desk laughing (pretending to work) and everyone thinks I am crazy - this thread is hysterical! I never knew that about Salva (duh) but after seeing JC#2 I can believe it.
