Winter Olympics vs Winter Xgames

On yesterday's 1/26/04 edition of Around The Horn on espn the question was posed what winter games are better the Olympics or Xgames? So what do you schmoes think winter Olympics or winter X.

Me I prefer winter X the games are much better and more exciting than anything in the Olympics IMO,there is no denying that the Olympics are more patriotic and thats what the olympics are about,but as for the games themselves for me winter X is superior.

well, to tell the truth, I dont watch much of either but Id take the Olympics I guess. As much as the X games have evolved, Ive never really gotten (is that a word?) into them. Yet, I can watch stick figures do there figure skating...guess its the really tiny outfits they wear! :)

The Olympics by far. The Winter X Games bore the hell out of me because I have very little interest in the sports it showcases. I'm much more of a skiing, figure and speed skating, hockey, and sledding kind of guy.

I always watch the Olympics, however, I don't watch the X games. The sports in the X games just don't interest or excite me at all.

Personally, I'd almost rather watch a Kathy Bates and Rosie O-fats lesbian love scene than either event, but if I had to choose I go with the Winter Olympics.

Some of the figure skaters are hot and I like to cheer when they crash and listen to the announcer say, "they are just skating for pride now." Also, I find curling strangely addictive.

Winter X has snowcross so it is by far the best of the two.
