Need suggestions

Hey guys. I'm writing a script, and I want it to be a real coming of age story. I was wondering if anyone could post some suggestions of movies that have a coming-of-age-type formula.

Well I do have my own idea. It's just putting it together and arranging things perfectly so they balance out is the problem. And I've never written a coming-of-age story, and I wanted something to refer to, just to see how other people did theirs.

I don't really see anything wrong with looking to other films as a reference...my film classes do it, books on writing and filmmaking do it...
