I'm not a zombie fan, but I enjoyed this movie. Resident Evil and AoD are my other choices. Anyway, how did the schmoes feel about this movie? Just wished my favs would've lived.

Most of the people actually hate this movie, but I kind of liked it. Also, I hate video game movies, so my expectations were low.

For me, HOUSE OF THE DEAD (4/10) easily fit into the "so bad, it's still watchable" category. I could hardly stop laughing at the flick for one second, but it was at least tolerable and dependable upon for a few goofy-ass thrills.

I'm not sure if I say this and it will make sense but here goes anyway. I didn't like House of The Dead that much cause the movie was shot to much like a video game. And there was hardly any gore. I mean I know it was based off a video game. And it was suppose to have similarities to the video game. I don't know it just didn't do it for me.

This movie flat out sucked!! The zombie effects were horrible, the acting was horrible, the story was horrible, and the zombies could run, which I don't like. however, I still do like the video game. it rocks!

One of the worst movies i have ever seen in my life, I'll have to leave it at that cause if i gave reasons why it would take up this whole page. When it comes to zombie movies that were this bad the only ones that came to mind were Dead Hate The Living, and The Children Of The Living Dead. On note about the movie I would like to know if anyone else noticed in one of the scenes when the zombies are attacking you can plainly see the trampoline or jump pad that the actor had to jump off of, just wondering if anyone else caught that, i had to rewind just to make sure i wasn't seeing things and let me tell you the last thing i wanted to do while watching this movie was hit rewind i wanted to get it over with quickly.

Yeah I kinda noticed that to. You know with all the errors in this film there should be like a contest that if you can spot all the errors you win a prize. Kinda like the april fool's day contest with the Drew Carrey show.

I thought you guys were just being hard on this movie and I though it looked good so I rented it. JESUS CHRIST YOU WEREN'T BEING HARD ENOUGH! LoL! Man this movie is so stupid, not scary, the zombies look so cheap, and they have scenes from the video game, WTF!

i had such low expectations,but was bored,and as the horror fan i am,i just decided to check it out...i saw it on the opening weekend,saturday night w/ my cousin,and with all the low expectations and feelings,i came out actually enjoying it....the lead was extremely fucking gorgeous....of course the badness is there and flaws=uncountable,but i still DID honestly like it...i'd give it a 4.5/10

I started out hating this movie (I really didn't want to see it, watched with some of my friends.), the acting was terrible especially Clint Howard, the movie was just slow and not entertaining, then I started seeing in-game footage in the movie and I couldn't help but want to like it. :D

I thought that overall, the quality of the movie was terrible, but it was true to the game in my opinion. Though the violence and everything was more amusing then cool or frightening. (heads exploding:p) The other thing I thought was halarious is when people would die they would get Game Overs, very similar to the video game. pure comedy.

I would give the movie 5/10

I saw House of the Dead when it first came out and I found it boring but I watched it all anyway. No big deal. Flash forward to last week when it came out on DVD. I completely forgot what it was about so I decided to pick it up. Yet again, I was bored but this time, I was so bored that I had to shut it off. Bad acting. Bad story. Bad dialogue. Bad gymnast zombies. Bad idea. Shitty movie.
