Another "What is this movie called?"

OK. Seems like if anyone knows you guys would know.

This movie I saw on TV when I was 5. For those of you that are counting that would make the year around 1971.

The movie has some manner of creature walking around at night. I think they may have been made of stones. Like a gollum or monster from clay.

The other creature(s) were 1 maybe 2 severed hand(s). At one point this couple was parked and the hand was touching her shoulder or neck and she was whining to her date - I don't want to go that fast and he was like - its not me! at which point she screamed a blood curdling scream.

Sounds even vaugely familiar?

Any leads are appreciated.

It may have even been shown on "Creature Feature" with Bob Wilkins. Regardless this seems like a Drive-in type of movie.

Oh and there may have been one silver glitterey and and one gold glittery hand. I dunno.

The rock guy was made of big stones not pebbles, almost like a michelin man lumbering around in the dark.

This is really my first memory as a child.

There was one cheesy monster/sci-fi movie featuring a monster like the stone guy but I can't remember it! Sorry. The only other one that comes to mind is It- The Terror from Outer Space. I think that was the Roddy McDowell one.Hmmm...will check on this.

The stone guy seriously reminds me of The Neverending Story (1 or 2) but the rest definetely does not.

Did the big rock guy wheel around on a giant rock scooter? Cuz thats Neverending story.

Sorry can't help either but pretty sure it's not THE HAND cos it was made in 1981, not 1971.

Yes, I have a feeling the movie was even earlier than 1971 to be on TV, possibly as early as the sixites or so.

Guess I'll just have to keep watching more horror movies. :)

If it was that old, then it could very well have been It-with Roddy McDowell. Do you remember it in color?

Yes. color it was. as I believe there were two different color hands. one gold and one silver.
