I don't. You always have high or low hopes for a movie. It's the same here. At least for me. I always "rate" them before seeing them, so I can see if I was right or wrong.

i dont think its ridiculous, but i agree with barry egan. if i pre rate a movie, i come in with that number in my head. sometimes it just happens, but i try not too. of course we see trailers and tv spots to "pre judge" a movie, but i dont like to actaully rate it before hand.
