List HORROR movie characters you think should've lived and from the movie.

I have a weakness for strong characters that will/do fight back, especially women.

Liberty and the black woman and sword fighter from House of the Dead .

Tara from ANOES 3 .

Michelle Rodrigus from Resident Evil .

Dr. Frankenstein and wife from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein .

Girl from Deadly Friend .

taryn in ANOES 3- she kicked all kinds of ass

nancy in ANOES3- she also kicked all kinds of ass

philip in ANOES 3- he was sarcastic; i liked him much

zowie in pet sematary II- poor puppyhead :(

the scientist in day of the dead- poor bub <cries into back of hand>

rain in RE- she was so freaking great!

Hell yes! Randy ruled. He's a character I can relate to!

About Sara, no, she wasn't a slut, yes, she thought she was in love, BUT, she showed skin. Big no-no in a horror flick

Tommy and Trish's mom I agree with. In fact, one of the reasons her death was off screen was due to the fact she'd done nothing wrong.

The great thing about the original Dawn of the Dead is that there are only four characters, and you don't want any of them to get killed off. Not sure of their names, but I was sad to see the two that did die get picked off.

There are so many...I mean, the deaths of characters like Marion Crane in PSYCHO or Casey Becker in SCREAM jump-started the plots of those slashers...and BLOW OUT wouldn't have been as poignant without Sally's ultimate demise. Those deaths that piss me off (child murders, dog deaths) were thrown in for shock value, and deaths of characters that I truly cared about (the cast of APRIL FOOL'S DAY) were a private joke on the audience.

So I guess I have nothing to say!

Randy from SCREAM

The survivors from ALIENS who died before ALIEN3 even started. I know you wouldn't have been able to get the same person to play Neut, but I would have liked to see her character get slaughtered by the Alien early on...and I'm sure there would have been some nastyness between her and the prisoners.

almost all of the soldiers in predator
Sarah Conner - t3 (again not seen and a horrible way to kill off a great charecter)

thats all i can think of right now. just to note somethings, i was sad to see these charcters die but in most of the cases the movie would not have been as good, or have as much an impact if they didn't.

If ben would have lived through notld it would have made the completely different, his death along with Roger and Steve in dawn, make the movie almost personal, and make the movies such downers. Case in point if you listen to Bruce Campbell audio commentary on Evil Dead he says at the end Ash was suppsoed to be dead and if you listen through the credits you hear the music stop and forest noises begin and he explains that Sam Raimi wanted that to show people that everything in the movie dies even the music. I could on for awhile but i won't

You know a list that would be even more interesting, but it would be hell cause every post would be a whole page long, would be a list of people that lived and should have died in horror movies.

i loved Taryn in Dream Warriors and she definitely didnt deserve to die!she rocked!!!!! One of the best death scenes in that film though

It has been suggested, as he was not a local like Mrs. Trent (Imogen Claire) or P.C. Erny (Paul Brooke), he would have made a better victim enthralled to Lady Sylvia (Amanda Donohoe), then the other two.

I have mixed feelings towards these two. Yes, their deaths surprised me. But both of them were "evil" in some way. Susan wanted to help people, but she didn't mind if any of her team member were killed in the way, so I guess she deserved it ;).

I wish Tatum had lived through Scream, it would've been so much cooler if she was there instead of those token best friends from 2 and 3. Plus I love Rose McGowan. Another one from the Scream series is Randy, he rocked, and his performance in 3 was great but felt kinda tacked on...he should've just lived.

A definite big one (thanks for reminding me Sad Man) is Polly from May. Like Mike (RIP) I just adore Anna Faris and her character was my favourite in the whole movie, I was really shocked and disappointed when she died.

I also wish Kelly Rowland's character from Freddy vs. Jason didn't die...but I can't remember her characters name. Either way, Kelly did good in the role and the character was kewlio.

Also sad man...May didn't die in May. She went absolutely nuts and stabbed her eye, but she didn't die.

RICK JOHNSON from NIGHTMARE 4! He had great hair, listened to great music (Dramarama's "Anything, Anything"), and did awesome kung fu moves. He also had a great sense of style and sense of humor. We see her die, she stabbed her eye with a scissord, even if she didn't die in the movie, she wouldn't last long. That's how I see it. That's why we see her happy in the ending, because even though she's dying, Amy is alive, and she can die happy. I like to believe that Amy really "woke up", and not that she was just crazy.

Paige in Valentine....she was the only character I liked...well I liked Dorothy too...sorta....but damn the main girl could not act and got on my nerves so bad....Paige why did u have to go to the hot tub in the middle of the party!?!?!

The guy from IT.....not the one who killed himself in the bathtub....but the one at the end...it was pointless....out of the big group of people they only killed the one guy...so I was dissapointed..half of them should of died...or they should of all made it out....

Actually, two of them died...

*SPOLIERS* highlight to read.

Stan was the one who died in the bathtub, and Eddie died during the battle with the spider. In the novel he got his arm bitten off and bled to death, but in the movie the spider crushed him.
